I’ve recently made a huge change in my life and there’s no turning back.
I had a secure job, with full benefits and pension, at a major publishing company. As comfortable as it was, I never really saw it as a permanent gig. I tried a few free lessons for coding and was hooked right away. I took part-time courses while at work to see if it was worth exploring further or not. Cut to a few months later and now I’m in a fully immersive bootcamp at Juno College. It’s pretty daunting making such a big change, but I couldn’t be happier and feel ready to take on this challenge!
I was pretty anxious and nervous over the days leading up to the first day, but after completing the first week, those nerves have turned to excitement. There’s a lot to take in in the first week, and I’m expecting it to get heavier, but I’m excited to learn the material and love tackling the challenges that come along with it.
